Our Veterinary Team

Joanne has 25 years of experience in both day and emergency veterinary practices.  She’s been here since 2004 and is our practice manager. Joanne is from Monroe but lives in Ann Arbor with her two dogs, Sully and Milo. When not at work, she loves to spend time with her niece and nephew.

Carrie has been at the clinic since 2002 working as the clinics receptionist. Carrie lives in Munith but is originally from Greenfield, Indiana. Carrie lives with many farm animals, along with many dogs and cats. She spends her spare time sewing, painting and just being generally creative.

Alicia is our Licensed Veterinary Technician who has 11 years of experience in general and emergency practice, she has been with the clinic since 2015. Alicia graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelors of Science in Zoology. She is originally from Stockbridge but lives in Jackson with her cat Rebel. When she isn’t at work she enjoys painting and fishing.

Nicole is one of the veterinary assistants at the clinic. She has 2 years of general practice experience. Nicole currently attends Michigan State University, where she is attending the Veterinary Nursing Program. Nicole is from Adrian, but lives in Jackson. She has three dogs and eight cats. In her free time she enjoys drawing, golfing, and crafting.

Shelly is another one of our veterinary assistants. She has 3 years of experience walking dogs and housekeeping at Tall Oaks kennel. Shelly has 6 dogs along with several cats and chickens. In her free time she enjoys listening to music, exploring nature, and playing with her animals.
